I don't know how I feel about Angelina Jolie's accent. It's interesting...

It's Perfect

well yes but you'd expect better continuity from their own damn movie :fail:

just like disney

This is showing her story, it has nothing to do with what happens to Snow White in her movie.

Sleeping Beauty*

Well yes but I expected it to be a prequel to Sleeping Beauty but now I see it's just a different adaptation with a different story that explains Maleficent's origins :P

The Great Gatsby came out on DVD so I'm watching right now. There are some few unanswered questions.

At the end, Daisy and Buchanan leave move away with their 3 years old daughter, who was not shown in the beginning.

George Wilson easily went into Gatsby backyard undetected to shoot him so where are his dozen houseworkers and bodyguards?

It's funny how Gatsby try to break the bad news to Buchanan with Daisy in the room. They should just elope.

Weren't they on leave or something? That's how I remembered it at least.

The ending was so sad. :emo:

It's a great movie, one of my faves this year.

One thing that I thought odd or a bit strange was just how Daisy upped and left after Gatsby had been shot lmfao, it was like "toodles".

She didn't go to the funeral I think it said?

Cold heartless b*tch lmao

The Great Gatsby is my absolute favorite book of all time and I thought the movie was phenomenal, regardless of what critics thought :legend:

It was established they had a daughter. She was who Daisy was talking about with the "beautiful little fool" line while talking to Nick.

Gatsby had all his workers go on leave after he reunited with Daisy. He slowly stopped all his extravagance after finding her.

Gatsby was just causing trouble tbh

It was supposed to show that the entire time, Daisy was out for her own skin. The story is commentary on the vain, materialistic mindset upper class people have. Daisy, really, never truly loved anyone but herself and went with whoever was convenient for her. That's why I get upset when people say they want a love like Gatsby and Daisy or something like that  like, this is far from a love story haha.

In the old Gatsby movie of 1974, for the ending, they have a theme song that went like, "The rich get richer, while the poor have more children." LOL

But Robert Francis Kennedy was rich and have 11 kids.
