I remember a Gagavision episode where the instrumental of Marry The Night was played, and the breakdown was markedly different from the album version. GagaFrontRow had a looped extended version of the Gagavision clip, and I memorized the old way before we heard the album, I'm wondering if the 2 could possibly be related. fascinating!

Probably.

This is the last (if not only) Marry The Night demo. :)

The album mastering was done like 2/3 weeks only before the album release.

hmmmm. I am so mixed up I've been listening to the 40 second mark in all 3 versions

I may be even doubting myself at this point so here's what I'm gonna do :)

I could've sworn the Gagavision Marry The Night was different from the Album version of Marry The Night.

I could be wrong but I remember going, "Oh, they didn't do it the way I remember!" when I heard the album (when it leaked a week early, 5-18-2011, as I recall from my files.) so I have some things from that era I saved:

the original music we heard on Gagavision on 4-23-2011

the looped version from GagaFrontRow which highlighted the instrumental

and the album version from the leak circa 5-18-2011.

No offence, but the bridge however, does sound as though as someone played the vocal stems and rerecorded it in front of a moving fan.

Haha no you're not :) It's around 42 sec mark in the demo that just leaked and 40 in GGV, for the demo/album it's almost as if they added another beat over it!
