Hey everyone. I was wondering, if possible, if somebody with mad Photoshop skills could remove the guy in the background of this photo making the disgusted face to make it look like it's just the scenery behing Gaga? This is such a flawless picture, I would really appreciate it if somebody could do this! Sorry I couldn't give a name for that guy, I don't know if he's part of Gaga's team or what. :flop:

Thank you to anybody who can give this a go. :) If it's not really possible, that's alright.

I think it's impossible to remove the guy, we can only extract Gaga of that picture

nope its pretty simple to remove him.

I would do it but I am too drunk right now to come up with a perfect result :awkney:

The guy is Pete. He's also the deep voice on "Government Hooker". And, of course it's possible...

So, for those wondering how it's done, and speaking as someone who did the whole thing and then trashed it when I saw better versions posted, here's the main trick:

1. Make a duplicate layer, with transparency.

2. On the front layer, carefully erase around Gaga (focusing on the parts where Pete shows through).

3. On the back layer, copy and paste big sections of foliage right over Pete, and don't worry if you cover Gaga, too.

4. Merge layers (flatten image). Voila!

At least this is how I did it, in the Gimp. Layers are the key.
