Day 7:

I'm the king of summer flings I guess :traumatica: This song gives me "having a heart to heart on a warm summer night by a fire pit and fast forwarding to two years later when you don't even speak to each other anymore".

DESTROY UR DISEASE

Thank you so much for all the music that you're sharing with us and for all of your... lists :icant:

Spoiler

Remember that you can always add some description to your song like explanation why you've decided to choose this one, or you can share a story from your life related to it, or maybe some interesting reflection, etc. etc.
It's not necessary but feel free to do that if you want to :ohwell:

Anyways... in this incoming wintertime (well unless you live in Australia or Brazil, or... somewhere else SOUTH) a thing that a lot of us might need right now is...

DAY SEVEN: A SONG THAT FEELS LIKE SUMMERTIME

Ahh the summer of 2016 when every radiostation had this song on repeat... the good times that will never return :enigma: and that's what this song feels like to me

Day 7: for summertime I have to go with LDR. A lot of her music has a summer-y feeling to it, especially Honeymoon album

Solo albums wise:
I rank Flux higher than The Love Invention/Reinvention.
Flux has some of my favourite solo songs of hers like Reverberotic.

Goldfrapp (the duo of her & William):
My personal favourite is Silver Eye - particularly Systemagic.
Supernature is typically seen as the magnum opus and has the majority of their biggest hits.

Their most interesting is probably Seventh Tree - but it's also a massive depature from the electronic sound, it's like a Joanne equivalvent in their discography. Some amazing songs on it, but its very very different due to it being folk/psychedelia.

And as a little tidbit - I always feel like Black Cherry, specifically Twist/Train/Strict Machine were potential influences for ARTPOP.

Thank you for the recommendations 💓 Silver Eye - i like that as a title. Ok, Supernature is like their The Fame Monster or Born This Way - magnum opus. Seventh Tree sounds promising - folk and psychedelia is a interesting mixture.

Black Cherry, a little bit like my nickname here, i save it.

I will buy an album physically, not sure which one yet. Goldfrapp has something electronic underground/alternative in their vibe.

Day 7.

This song just feels like summer to me. It's hard for me to ignore it. I was trying to do all music in Spanish but this song deserves the spot tbh

Day 7 - A Song That Feels Like Summertime: This one is a fun bop from the Summer of 2016 so it's also very nostalgic :firega:

Day 7:

As I saw a comment read: "How Teenage Dream would've sounded if it had been released in 1989." It brilliantly captures a genuine 80's sound that is pure sunshine in audio form. A good summer song should always make you feel like you're actually there and I was blasting it this summer, despite being thousands of miles from LA and being into long-haired rocker boys. ;)

Day 8. A song from the year you joined this website (2013)

None of you will have heard of this unless you lurk the same weird corners of the internet that I do. (This is by the same guy who did the Badger Badger Badger meme song.) I chose this "song" for two reasons: because trolling gays I don't know on the internet is funny, but also, it really exemplifies humor of a different time, back when the doge meme was super widespread.

Such song, very music, wow
