Enough from the Free Woman stan Because OBJECTIVELY 90s Madonna is factually the best Madonna.

Her first 2 albums, while chock full of dance hits, are NOT as well received as TB and LAP.

Blonde Ambition and Confessions are unmistakably her best tours. Like I'm an Erotica stan, apologist and Girlie Show FIEND but I'm not gonna say it's her best show, I'd say it's my favorite. 

Now Holiday is a good song but oh my god it has AGED in her discography. It's not an Auto Tune Baby low but it's absolutely not better than the VAST majority of her bulletproof catalog. 

Ray of Light is largely lauded as her best album because it's her most personal and landed at THE PERFECT TIME. Songs like Nothing Really Matters, Skin, Frozen, Swim, Ray Of Light, and Drowned World are ARGUABLY some of her strongest works. She released a perfect album and had the perfect "fall and rise" of "the blonde popstar" dynamic that the public seems to LOVE. THAT CONTEXT IS VERY IMPORTANT, she went from **** stirrer and trouble maker in the 80s-mid90s. When Ray OF Light was released this was her first album post evita, post motherhood, etc. She was in such an incredible position as a titan in pop.

Girl. I LOVE the true blue era. I mean it I do, but that is universally critiqued as having been too demanding and thrown together. She was still figuring out touring at the time, which is why Blonde Ambition was SUCH a revelation. Because she found her identity on stage, she wasn't JUST bringing the videos to life, she brought her world to you.

Publicly? Sure, Rebel Heart is under-rated BUT that tour is OFTEN categorized as one of her best. So within the fanbase, rebel heart was VERY well received. BUT the leaks/label interference ruined the concept for the record. It was ABSOLUTELY supposed to be a double album. Ghosttown is one of her best songs. Her Publicly most underrated album I'm like 90 percent sure it's bedtime story.

I love that she went with the less eccentric name for such an eccentric song (Everything vs Crystallized) it sets you up with no idea what's gonna happen and is SUCH a sonic journey. Crystallized gives this sense of curiosity, how would she use THAT word in a song whereas Everything is a super common word, so it's basically a bait and switch. Which is like her bread and butter.

Love Sensation does NOTHING for me, the Kylie version does even LESS 😭😭😭 I hate that this song is such a dud for me. Bizarre however takes the CAKE for best song, maybe Fragile as well.

This is NOT how we start the party. Danceteria being the perfect marriage of looking back, looking forward and being referential like it sounds like if Vogue/Veni Vidi Vici was on Music and I cannot believe she managed to make it in 2026, I really didn't think she had it in her.

That is one of the best promo images she's ever released. Totally agree. It's on display in my house right now

The Kylie version is a complete dud, tbf

But I agree that Bizarre is (one of) the better songs. The instrumental is the catchiest on the album, imo

Stand outs for me are Love Sensation, Bizarre, School, CRYSTALLIZED & Love Without Words

But I also enjoy the sweetness of The Test

& the instrumental of Betrayal (even if it sounds like she locked Sade in a storage closet & stole it from her lol)

Personally, I feel like Kylie makes more sense on Danceteria. It would have been really cool to hear HER story through that songs structure. HOWEVER Sophie being mentioned both on the song and at the VMAs brought me to TEARS I miss her so bad.

There's a Ranvision remix of Bring Your Love with Cupcakke's alcoholic and I've listened to it THOUSANDS of times. Something Snooze Your Love has yet to achieve.

- Her 80s hits sound bad.

- Rebel Heart was much, much better than it's usually given credit for. 

- Danceteria is overrated.

- Hard Candy is also a classic Madonna record with consistent quality.

- Bedtime Stories is boring.

- Rebel Heart unreleased songs are as good as other artist's released songs. She was inspired making the album.

- Madame X is a misunderstood, slightly flawed, masterpiece.

- Confessions II is better than Confession I.

- Bedtime Stories Untold Chapter EP is amazing and better than the original album.

Idk but I feel like Bizarre is way too overrated and basic. Sounds like just the typical EDM song Martin Garrix or those 2010s DJs would do and could've been on MDNA.
