I mean at this point if I wanted to consciously be a 'good person' I'd have to boycott Israel, the US, every conglomerate, every product that has AI built in, take my money out of my retirement scheme, never get my hair done, not have insurance, or go to the movies.. that's literally impossible. If you try to be 100% ethical you can't move. You can't buy clothes, own a phone, use the internet, support any government with taxes. Unless you live (illegally, which is f.ucked up in itself) fully off-grid, farming your own food and making your own clothes, drinking water from a stream, and dying of sepsis, you can't live 100% ethically. And if you think too hard about it you will want to scream

And if you really want to be so puritanical regarding the issue maybe don’t buy or stream her damn music or watch her movies because at some point along the way there will be a random affiliation to a company based there because the entertainment industry as a whole has “Israeli companies” involved. Also, notice I said BASED there. Not funding the government and pushing the genocide there. Be so gentle with me right now. I had a funeral on Wednesday, a concert last night, I basically haven't slept since Tuesday morning and I strolled into work today at 3am with only three vodka cranberries, a few Checker's french fries, a 40 hour sleep deficit, and a prayer in my system.

I'm so gaslightable right now
