That central conceit of that song is so dumb in my opinion (I don’t think it’s a bad song per se, just really I don’t like it at all for many reasons) I’d keep most things the same honestly, except I’d officially designate and promote 911 as a single. Babylon, Alice, and Free Woman are borderline unlistenable for me. So I find it funny that everyone is saying those should have been the singles. Stupid Love does scream lead single to me, so I get why they went with it, but I think Replay could have killed as the lead. But, as I said, genuinely think things went all right the way it was set up. The main issue with that era was timing, not single choices IMO. Enigma OR Rain On Me Solo - I want to see her artistic vision re: an Enigma MV and no one can deny her vocal tour de force here OR I'd love her not being constrained by a safer pop girl co-starring (sorry!) and keep Rain on Me to Gaga herself. The video already had cool if embryonic ideas like the rainfall-knives and Gaga dancing with a whole-ass knife in her hip as if that's normal plus "Flood Warning" Interface Gaga (Goddess OR Symbiotic/Parasite-chained Gagz seeing as what looked like wings/ornaments at first seemed more like unnatural alien appendages the second time we saw them briefly - trauma holding her hostage? - we needed much more of this!) + I love that we basically see a projection or subconscious version dancing while the "real" one is the crying Gaga overseeing everything, such a brilliant idea to add layers and flesh out further in a solo video. 3. Replay - I want a creative MV that captures the amazing sound of the song. 'Nuff said! 4. Babylon - To switch things up a bit.
