That central conceit of that song is so dumb in my opinion (I don’t think it’s a bad song per se, just really I don’t like it at all for many reasons) I’d keep most things the same honestly, except I’d officially designate and promote 911 as a single. Babylon, Alice, and Free Woman are borderline unlistenable for me. So I find it funny that everyone is saying those should have been the singles. Stupid Love does scream lead single to me, so I get why they went with it, but I think Replay could have killed as the lead. But, as I said, genuinely think things went all right the way it was set up. The main issue with that era was timing, not single choices IMO.
