Nah, algorithims make it easier for hits to stay in. 

Songs that gain heat get playlisted by Spotify etc
Playlists then get used by stores for BGM, lazy bars/DJs needing party playlists etc and then also casual listeners who just put on a "Hits of the Week" playlist and treat it like its radio (my driving instructor does this, its odd). 
That means the streams stay high, so the algorithim keeps it in the playlist and also uses it for the autoplay feature. 
And boom, chart stability through passivity.

A hag is an offensive or derogatory term for an ugly, mean, or unpleasant old woman. A *** HAG is what you were going for. 
 

also, did read the rest of your post, also thought it was nonsense. But that’s okay, not everyone gets Madonna or understands her musicianship. History will remember her as the Queen of Pop, not Lady Gaga, who I obviously love being on this forum and all, but has not experienced the same success Madonna has had. Unlike Gaga, Madonna didn’t stop being able to have a solo hit less than 10 years into her career.
