Lady Gaga Clearly Ageing - Is She Avoiding Major Celebrity Plastic Surgery?

Well yes, she's ageing. She's 40. She looks like a fit, healthy, hot 40 year old woman.

I think she looks amazing for 40. Yeah she’s had fillers and botox but she also stays fit and healthy, she tries to be as vegan as possible and has good fitness because she needs it for tours and singing stamina. 

I imagine she’ll go the Dolly route face wise as opposed to the Madonna route. Dolly while having plastic surgery, didnt overdo her face, she still had wrinkles and still had full use of her face (well, mostly). Where as Madonna has had like 3 faces in 20 years, which isn’t a dig because I think she looks great. 

Also you can always tell when a celebrity (most specifically women) has had work done to their face as they get older because they start wearing the infamous fingerless gloves like Dolly and now Madonna do. Because your hands give away your actual age.

I won’t say she’ll never get actual plastic surgery because she probably will get a face lift at some point, but if she does I just hope she’s open about it like Dolly, Kris Jenner or Cher is. But she was open about her fillers and botox 10 years ago so I think she will be.

I didn’t age at all between 18 and 35. People still thought I was in high school. Then boom I aged 10 years in 2 years. Still look a  little younger than my age in the face, but I’ve got a lot of gray hairs and now and other changes. It does come on suddenly and and there can be large periods between later chunks of aging as well.

I aged drastically from age 31 to 32 after being largely frozen from 22 to 30. It was scary af

The difference you're seeing in her and in some other celebrities her age who've also had work done versus older celebrities who've gotten work done in the past is that a lot of plastic surgery today is done in such a way that it looks a bit more natural and makes it appear that you're aging more naturally rather than being somewhat frozen in place. 

She's had work done by surgeons who're clearly very good at their jobs. She looks great. And there's nothing wrong with getting work done as you said. 

Excuse me? "Very clearly had a decent amount of work done over the years"? That's not true at all. She may have taken part in trends like lip fillers and maybe Botox, but not major surgeries. People constantly like to point out her nose, but if you actually look at pictures of her from the past and then over the years to now, her nose is the same. Her make up artists over the years just know how to apply make up to contour it and her cheeks. 

She's had various changes in weight over the years, notably around Cheek to Cheek and the jazz eras where's she gained weight in face. But then during Joanne especially she lost a lot of weight, probably extremely influenced by her fibromyalgia. During Chromatica as well, there was weight loss. Prior to and during Mayhem she gained a bit more muscle, it's noticeable in her legs and bum. 

I think this post is extremely shallow and ridiculous to even post. Gaga is a 40 year old woman, the same age as the majority of those of us who have been with her from the start, of course we've aged.

Jesus Christ, let the woman live how she pleases. We all age, heck a lot of us get Botox and fillers too (myself included).

Almost every account we’ve had of her in the 2020s hints at her trying to be as vegan as possible. She’s stopped wearing fur, wears fake leather, the last two times people have talked about her being in their restaurants they noted she ordered vegan meals, she runs a vegan makeup company. Not saying she IS vegan but there’s a lot of evidence she tries to be vegan nowadays.

Celebs especially female ones (which face an even greater degree of pressure to stay looking young than men) who chose to age naturally is very refreshing to me. People like Celine Dion, Betty White, Jamie Lee etc to name a few. Its very empowering to see they loved themselves enough to accept their natural state and not force artificial youthfulness

 

Now we know Gaga has done a few things like lip filler, likely nose filler etc. Minor things tbh by celeb standards. But ive noticed the last 1-2 years especially she has aged quite a bit and you really see it when shes not wearing make up. Thats not surprising as late 30s to early 40s is a common age threshold for age to really start to suddendly show on the skin

 

 

The fact she seems to have aged a fair bit kinda suggests she isnt doing any overly agressive face lifts, botox etc to force an artificial youth and while id never criticise if thats what she chose to do, its so nice to see confidence in herself that she can choose not to

She didn’t get her first ones till 2012 from that back alley strip mall when she had lip filler that made her lips circular practically (god I kinda miss those). And she used to use face tape but doesn’t seem like she got fillers or Botox till about 2015
