I feel like 18 ProMax offers more, from the camera and more things. Also, no news about creasing yet, so early adopters will let us know 6-10 months from now, I guess Well, looks like don't have to wait that long for it. There's a crease, lady & gentlemen. Someone that attended the event in person clocking it.

Jobs is the one who make this new phone every year model a thing, and not just to Apple, it affects every other smart phones too. iPhone have always been coming out with new phones with minimal update every year, and only have actually big changes every 3 or 4 years cycle since the start. Yeah but my primary gripe is how little to no known difference there is now, an iPhone from 2 years ago is barely different from an iPhone 10 years ago but cost almost double the price for instance, and how much focus the company has in churning it out, making iOS updates that basically make older models run slower or entirely useless or entire features that aren’t accessible. For example if you have an iPhone older than an 8 I believe now they’re basically obsolete—which would be fine if the differences were huge and they aren’t. At least with the other ones before his death he changed things like massive camera upgrades, the ability to use (at the time) 3G, greater signal coverage, lighter materials, size and then before his death he made the first “more affordable” iPhone with the 4S which was when roughly it stopped being an “expensive business phone” and became something the regular person wanted. He was focusing before his death on expansion of product range which the company has massively abandoned. Apple focuses primarily on iPhones because they’re easier to sell, followed by iPads and then iMacs. They completely destroyed his simplistic minimal model system that he established in the late 90s/early 2000s. They abandoned his Apple Television project and instead made the set top box, because it was cheaper and easier to make and sell, he hated subscription services and believed in personal ownership (hence buying your phone outright, only allowing apps on the App Store where a one-time purchase was the limitation and iTunes) but they made things like Apple Music and Apple TV, even iCloud storage became a subscription thing after his death. And the new iPhone absolutely goes against his original ethos for the company of smart, sleek and portable. His believed that a smart phone should sit comfortably in one hand where your thumb can touch your index finger around it with ease. His entire business model was the seperate the products into 3s; one for the business professional, one for the everyday user and one for basic system output. Apple absolutely doesn’t stand by that anymore, they have confusing amounts of iPads for instance now. Edited 39 minutes ago by gagzus
