I said it before and I'll say it again: bring back concert movies on DVD and Blu-Ray!

Or release it on YouTube, like Dua did and make a physical live album.

Concert movies in a cinema on a huge screen with hq sound systems are a great thought, but not everyone's tour is The Eras Tour. 

I think the Mayhem Ball tour in cinemas could work, but we'd all need to show up. But I'd happily pay for the ticket to experience the tour in Dolby Surround sound at my nearest cinema

This is an incomplete figure as not every country the film showed in has reported their box office for the weekend yet. 

Mind you it’s still a massive flop, but this figure is incorrect. 

Official trackers have it projected to be $20k+ (still bad). 

Also, as someone who has tracked box office for over a decade, be aware Box Office Mojo is notorious for displaying wrong information often because their site is buggy as hell following a botched re-do a few years back once iMDB bought it. 

I’d use other box office trackers for more reliable data from actual box office collection databases.

This sounds like it was very poorly planned. They could’ve sold to Netflix for a decent amount to cover up the expenses and just let more people re-discover Katy Perry from the comfort of their own homes. People need a very good reason to go to the theater these days and justify the ticket price, and this just ain’t it.
