For as much love as The Cure got when it debuted, it somehow became one of her most forgotten songs! At the time, it even gave her a radio hit in places where Million Reasons didn’t reach.

Meanwhile in 2026, Million Reasons is now in the billion club, and The Cure is not even to 500 million streams. The Cure’s daily streams are an even smaller fraction of what MR’s are.

I mean MR has been on her recent massive tour setlist which also helps, where as she hasn’t made any mention of The Cure since the JWT got cancelled and it isn’t used in any tour setlists. I think that’s why tbh.

MR also managed to maintain strong streams during the ASIB era. I think at the time it was the closest Gaga album  song to an Ally ballad so maybe that was why, but it never died like The Cure did.

Oh absolutely, I also think the majority of the public prefer Gaga’s ballads to her dance songs tbh.

I’m so proud of Million Reasons! Its story as a slow-burning success extends well past its 20 weeks on the Hot 100!

Million Reasons have could easily smash in 2011 and replace You and I i think.

Abra obviously, but honestly I think Garden would’ve been a HIT if she released it in 2011.

Rain on Me would’ve worked too because it’s very Daft Punk in some of it’s production.

Rain On Me is such a good feel song, it easily have could work in 2011 for example or even earlier.
