LoveGame is a good song and fun as **** live.
Y'all who keep wanting it booted off the tour setlist can eat my ass

Exactly I finally got to see it live at the Mayhem ball since she didn't put it on the setlist for ARTrave and it was great. I even admit I didn't LOVE lovegame when it first came out but it has really grown on me the past few years, it is really great.

LoveGame was the first Fame single that hooked me (Paparazzi is what trapped me lol).

And I adored the way she intro'd it for the Mayhem Ball. Main reason I want a Mayhem concert film live OST is to have that remixed intro able to go at a moments notice.

Less of an unpopular opinion, and more of a friendly reminder … she is so impossibly not finished, and she is going to be, ostensibly and unequivocally, one of the preeminent figures within the pantheon of “those people

Also, again, less of an unpopular opinion, and more of an open question: does anyone know the narrative significance (in context of her creative identity or artistic vantage) within the serial and repetitive death / departure of leading and/or featured suitors (ex. “Paparazzi,” “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” A Star is Born, House of Gucci, Joker Folie, then there‘s Irv in TDWP2 … and I guess, technically, there are the fiancés …)

I still think her best role was AHS tbh. She was fine in ASIB but that is because that role was tailor made for her and she was not great in HOG (along with everything and everyone else in that movie) especially her accent. She was fine in Joker FOD but she did not have much to work with and not much character either or real moments to show off her skills.

side note:  I thought it was so strange how she went on and on in interviews about "Lee" being this super complex and layered female character when she is just Arthur's crazy love interest in the film and a stand in for the "obsessed fangirl who loves the psycho" archetype like girl are we talking about the same movie? Idek if adding in her many deleted scenes would have changed anything though.

AHS was also tailor made for her, and neither it nor ASIB are her best roles, tbh, because it feels like Stefani Germanotta playing Lady Gaga playing Lady Gaga. HOG feels like Stefani playing Lady Gaga playing Patrizia, and JFAD feels like Stefani Germanotta as Lady Gaga (not a character within a character like previously done, but her artistic name nevertheless) playing Lee.

Lee is a much more nuanced character than you're giving credit for; at least, for comparison, better written than Ally/ASIB. And like, i love ASIB, but it's because I keep reading too much into the details. The actual movie fumbled the bag with Ally and reduced her to a side character on her own story, whereas Lee would've had stolen the entire film for herself if she had more scenes

That song literally shuffled up for the first time in months when I was on a drive today … instantaneous karaoke mode, windows down, sunroof back, the works … I didn‘t like it until my little sister successfully lobbied for its validity (it took a good eighteen months, but we got there in the end) … whew, vibes and tribes

It's always been one of my favorites :traumatica: Even worse when you relate :bradley:

The Fame is mid and other than Paparazzi, the back half of the album clears the front half. Pokerface is one of her weakest singles. Its saving grace is that it’s repetitive enough to be an earworm.

Just Another Day and Hey Girl are actually very good, but they are niche. Just Another Day gives NYC

Gaga should continue her Jazz ventures because she is incredible and she does have a growing jazz fanbase.

It’s fine that Gaga engages with us less, I understand. But it did feel like being ghosted how she did it.

I think Gaga is a better camp/dramatic actor than she is a serious/romantic actor. I also think her acting has generally improved but is too reliant on the right chemistry.

I love A Star is Born, and I love his voice; but I hate Bradley Cooper in that movie for some reason. Shallow was a bad single choice despite how well it did short term. It feels incomplete. Always Remember Us This Way should have been the lead and would have had better longevity. I’ll Never Love Again should also have been a single after release, we could have had our “man that got away” if it got radio time.

Agreed. I didn't miss at all Telephone at my MAYHEM show in Bcn but I know for a fact LoveGame not being there would've been a miss

My most unpopular opinion (as some of you may already know) is that The Fame Monster is her most uninterested, uninspiring and boring album from her to me — which is still compatible with it being legendary because of singles like Bad Romance and Alejandro. But, realistically speaking, the project was designed to be a hit after hit album. And that's it. It's her True Blue. I also like to measure her albums by the way they're put into their corresponding tour and, honestly, I still don't get why The Monster Ball Tour is so present to this day to some of you. A snooze fest, if you ask me lol

What are some of your unpopular opinions when it comes to miss Ga? (Can be positive or negative)

I''ll start: I like Dope a lot and think it is quite underrated.

I LOVE THAT YOU PRAISED DOPE ON THE FIRST POST THAT IS MY SONGGGGG!!!!

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Her silence on Palestine and the like after trying to 'do the right thing' during the chromatica era makes it look like her activism has been a marketing tactic. I really hate to say it, I've been here since the MYSPACE YEARS and I feel horrible streaming her music now. It saddens me that she said NOTHING for the entirety of the Mayhem ball/era. And the Israeli involvement in outer bio is even more disappointing. I'm not convinced that "skin" is going to be ethically sourced at all. The optics are terrible and I just won't be supporting her in official capacities anymore. Which breaks my ****ing heart because truly, she saved mine and so many others lives.

Like what the **** does angel down even mean at this stage in her career?

Hold My Hand to my listening ears is a bad song.

Shallow was way overplayed and a slightly below average song imo.

Stupid Love is a great fun song

Do What U Want with R Kelly is still a great song and performance

Perhaps not unpopular but I would LOVE to see her do a rock album
