At the (potentially lethal) risk of putting words into another person’s mouth, I think both she & I are finished bickering lmao Honestly there was never really a substantive “argument” taking place to begin with anyway. We were just trading barbs, there was some confusion about tone/vibe, I tried to clarify my meaning/perspective (while drunk, to be fair... sometimes I can be a lush)… & then we just got into the weeds about semantics/subtext (real &/or perceived). I WILL take responsibility for bringing up a separate conversation from an unrelated thread in this one. Another thread derailed. That much I will apologize for But seriously, if feelings are hurt/feathers are ruffled & a private convo needs to happen, my DMs are open... but again, I imagine both of us are bored by it now Big picture, I support our president. Not really sure what’s apparently unreasonable about that. I also, in my initial comment about mutual misreading, laid out how I felt in a way that was intended to leave room for the fact that we may just perceive hostility in these contexts somewhat differently (which is why I was taken aback by the list of pejoratives). I don’t think it’s invalid that you would perceive my behavior in that light, but frontloading the comment with that characterization is pretty clearly an escalation from where it started (which is all I said in my initial reply) and framing any attempt to contest the characterization as a reinforcement of the characterization is basically telling me to shut up and eat the sh*t, which I don’t think is particularly fair. Other than that, these responses are so thoroughly steeped in contempt that I’m not particularly interested in engaging with the rest of them. Nowhere did I (nor do I now) claim to be a victim here. All I said was I thought that the tone of the conversation had entered unproductive territory (which I think it indisputably has at this point) and that, if that was how it was going to continue, I didn’t want to engage. Continuing to lob insults at me after that and then acting like me defending myself is somehow me being “unable to help myself” or being “petty” basically just creates a dynamic where you think you’re entitled to say whatever you want to me without having to take any reply seriously (“well, he’s just being petty, hypersensitive” etc.) which is basically a continuation of what I took issue with in the first place. That being said, this was basically all that I was saying at the beginning. I was basically tired of the argument when it started but just didn’t really feel like absorbing those characterizations when I was trying to be gracious. No particular interest in relitigating it atp, but I did also write that last reply prior to seeing this lol We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Morphine Prince 109,844
Mayhem is lackluster, the era was boring, looked promising and fell flat. Skipped the tour and have ZERO regrets. This album is responsible for me basically going from stan mode to casual fan. I can't even listen to Gaga as much after how letdown I felt by this album. Hit me like crack in the 80's because this is the first time I'm very disappointed/not impressed/wasn't able to enjoy what I liked from the album for more than a few weeks I've been waiting for her next era since March 2025 with nothing to actually look forward to. 1 1 1
