If you enjoy feminine rage, mythology, art, heartbreak and a folk-pop sound, she might just become your new obsession, like she became mine during her first album cycle. For ya'll tiktok gals, she's best known for the feminist anthem Labour. But I love that she's built a world where vulnerability and fury sit side by side. Her fvck you to the idiotic patriarchal Tate boys in the song Good Boy is genious, and the body positivity aspect of Good girl is radical in times when ozempic rules (this one is also very dancy for the queens who have to twerk to music). By her words, the album is an exploration of love; love as art, love under patriarchy, love as something political and radical, and even what happens in the spaces where love is absent. Similarly to the last album, Cacophony, she's writing about feminism, mythology, art, nature, desire and becoming a piece of art. Saw her live during the Everybody Scream tour as an opener for Florence + the Machine, and she's a force, so support this talented gal!
