My loved ones are simply more important to me, and I don’t want to contribute a single stream because it goes directly towards continuing the ongoing harm and pain they are experiencing because of JK Rowling. I’m not ashamed to read the books I already owned, or watch the DVDs I already owned; but it’s really time we move on from this IP for the good of everyone. It’s going to probably do well, my focus will be on continuing to support trans people instead. I think they are trying to appeal to both film and book fans, which isn’t the right decision and feels like pandering. As we all know, they didn't have to do this. I think the real reason they've invested so much in this is to sell new Harry Potter merch for years and years to come, to the same people who've spent thousands over their lifetimes on the merch that already exists.
