But like.....who cares whether she became popular or not? Her fans always knew who she was and those are the people that will actually be there when she is releasing her last album when she is 100. She broke through into the mainstream. Cool. Good for her. But Zara Larsson is smart enough to not give a **** about these petty titles/structures. Also I kind of don't like the insinuation she had never broke through- she has several massive hits over the years. If it's about her "image" breaking through then that's not about music and the Grammys should focus on music- not celebrity/fame/clout.

She's been mainstream in the UK since lush life im so confused  symphony was also huge but ig she was just a feature

She is not eligible anyway, since she had been nominated on Grammys before for Best Dance Pop Recording this year. The Recording Academy rules state that an artist cannot win or be nominated for Best New Artist if they have any prior Grammy nominations as a performer
