Musk has Twitter, owns businesses that make cars, even space rockets etc you can quantify his wealth. Crypto isn’t even a fully realised currency yet however. Crypto currency like BitCoin isn’t even a tangible circulating currency either physically or digitally like pounds, dollars or euros. I think its simply being measured by what those tokens currently trade at, i think its as simple as that. Some assets are more speculative than others but the way they count towards net worth is the same Musk is in a simmilar boat anyway. Tho yes he owns businesses that make stuff, their value trade multiples to actual earnings are super high. They also tend to arrive, rehearse and go to a green room/dressing room and then once their set is over they go home. I imagine it’s similar to how although Gaga’s net worth is merry $1b she doesn’t have that much in her bank account.
