WHAT THE F*CK?!

Oh my god, may she rest in peace. A true legend, not just in music, but in life

I always appreciated Dolly for being a bridge between the factions in our country. She carried herself with such a free, kindhearted spirit, never taking herself too seriously and never afraid to laugh at herself, qualities that resonated with conservatives and liberals alike. Dolly had a way of making us forget, even if just for a little while, about the pile of **** we’re all standing in every day.

She was perfect in every way...always knew what to say, when to say it and always did the right thing. She united America in a way most country singers struggle to do.

Plus, if anyone's never listened to 'Dolly Parton's America' podcast, you ABSOLUTELY should. Its phenomenal.

Rest in peace, Dolly.

What sad news :( You won't get a star much more universally loved than Dolly.

Ugh I feel so upset over this. ):

She was such an important light in the world, and she never let the privilege she had get to her. She always cared for people regardless of who they were. Such a legend. We will always love you Dolly Parton. ❤️💔

Yes my girls get books from “Aunt Dolly” every month. They even asked me about signing up in the hospital with them (although I had already signed up).

Rest in Peace, ma'am. I googled her just now and it came straight back with that pic with the big hair and the beautiful smile. Thank you for everything you did for everyone.
