Ilia Malinin 3,068
the most eerie thing to me is that not that long ago, i mentioned to my grandmother that it'll be a national tragedy the day she dies. i feel like saying that was an understatement. everyone keeps saying "oh, he's back, he's back!" but the truth is i never left! Why say that to a group of people who are sad over the loss of someone who has passed? That's like if Gaga died and someone said to you "meh, I didn't care about her" Some of the reasons people love Dolly is not just because of her music, but also because she was a very kind, happy, ray of sunshine, and someone who was very generous and gave back to her community, and supported the gay community decades ago. Her Dollywood foundation donated over 330 million books over the years to children to fight illiteracy and bring joy to kids who needed it. She donated to covid research, donated tonnes of money to people affected by natural disasters. Donated a lot of money helping people receive education, school costs, books etc. She was a person who was accepting of everybody, much like Gaga is, and always stood on the right side of history It's incredibly sad to lose such a caring person who did so much for others, when we have other people her age literally running a country into the ground and actively destroying lives, who just, keeps, living I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. 7 1
