He is openly racist and has repeatedly supported bringing in Vlaams Belang into ordinary political structures and opposes the cordon sanitaire against the facist party. He has repeatedly held coalition partnership talks with VB. 
The Flemish government coalition also includes Christian social conservatives and is led by a PM from the same parter as De Wever. 
Walloon is also led by a right wing party which is increasingly observed as moving further right economically and socially by political experts. And MR has been shifting rightwards ever since the Swedish Coalition government era of 2014-2018. 

So yeah. Let's talk about your city and Brussels and how right-wing christians have no power in Belgium compared to dangerous and un-western Islam.

No clue where you got that information from but that is completely false. BDW has ALWAYS objected to working with Vlaams Belang exactly because they are a populsist party that are openly racist and even homophobic at times. BDW is the one that kept the cordon sanitaire as it is, never did he mention he was opposed to it. It has been a huge talking point in the past elections aswell. His Party never claimed to be Christian Nationalist, they are quite literally Flemish Nationalist with 0 inspiration that's taken from religion. CD&V is the party that is Catholic inspired and even that is just in name, their party leader is Sammy Mahdi who doesn't even call himself Christian. 

Anyone can do a quick google search about a topic and pretend they are nnow an expert because they read a paragraph of false information.

But to say BDW is a racist that WANTS to work with Vlaams Belang is WILD. Any Flemish-Belgian will agree.

and is that really any better than laws in afghanistan?

i feel like all extremism is kinda the same few words just in different fonts.

also the same thing is happening down here. in australia our resident witch p**line h*nson wants to do the same thing and ban the burqa. she's been steadily rising in popularity as of late and i wouldn't be surprised in a few years a law like this is passed.
