They are both Interscope acts and the label likes to link up their artists for collabs from time to time. I'm pretty sure that's how we got Sour Candy. It's rare for Camila to do a solo single, all of her biggest hits are collabs: Havana, My Oh My, Beautiful, Bam Bam, Senorita, Move, I LUV It. 

Camila is gearing up for a new era soon and I was just thinking about how cool it would be if we got a new Gaga song out of it.

I like Camila on her own, but I dont see her putting out a song with Gaga that would hit in the right way

and by that, I mean that Gaga has such a strong, distinctive voice, and commands so much control of her sound. I just don't think they would mesh. The only reason Rain on Me worked so well is because Gaga and Ariana have such strong voices that mesh well
