Eh, if you actually read the OG thread, you’re painting with a pretty broad brushstroke with these tags for cheap “gotcha” points. I've never been a fan of hers and rarely listened to her songs. To me, she's an indifferent person, and if she wants to, let her pray, hate, whatever. I don't care, like Nicki or Ms. Volkova from t.A.T.u. calling Yulia a bisexual homophobe. I listen to t.A.T.u. myself because I grew up with it as a kid, then Gaga came along, and between the long break from BTW and ARTPOP, I listened to Minaj 

But if Gwen Stefani has such views, it's her business and I never really liked her

the conclusion was there all long with her original post - she promoting a paid app for a religion that is notoriously anti gay

Again, nobody defended her for being anti-gay (nor are all Christians anti-gay) and I honestly think it’s genuinely disrespectful to twist people’s words like that.

I get everyone has lots of beef with Gwen (I am not going to pretend to know enough about it all) but referring to this topic - assuming the reason she is following these people is because of their anti gay perspective is just  confirmation bias at play - we follow accounts usually when we see a video we like, we cant just assume it was an anti gay video. 
Also @Controversiaga not loving 'anti gay religion' I am a practising Christian and here I am. Lets not just hate everything associated with Christianity because your assumption is it is against you, because it isnt. (People, however, sometimes really fuc*ing suck)

Sadly, it's her. She was raised in a conservative Christian family. If you look at lyrics from No Doubt's album Return of Saturn, you can see this. When she was married to Gavin, he talked about how he didn't want to raise their kids in any religion, and Gwen is the one who would take them to church.

After their divorce, she became even more religious and used her faith as a crux to get through it. Blake has said she's the one who drags him to church, not the other way around.

That said, I doubt he's a raging liberal, either, and her being this way probably appeals to his base. I don't think he's MAGA, but I've heard his mom is, and I've heard Gwen's middle son is. Meanwhile, she and her oldest son are estranged (wonder if it has anything to do with this, as he's very progressive).  

I still love No Doubt and am glad I saw them at The Sphere, because No Doubt is more than just Gwen, and the guys are awesome and very progressive, but she's turned out to be very disappointing. This is a woman who, back in the day, let her sons wear skirts and nail polish and said she would be "blessed' if one of them was gay.
