Political crisis in Kashmir

As someone who wasn’t well-read on the issue, hearing @InTheCloset’s story about joining local protests in Kashmir inspired me to look into it. I found a great briefer on the issue. One thing mentioned here which makes me hopefully for our good sis is that internet blackouts have been part of the army/police tactics to tamp down protests, so I’m hoping that’s the answer and he’s safe.

The use of internet blackouts in the region line up fairly well with when they stopped posting. So I'm choosing to believe thats the only thing behind the silence.
