Which cover of Lady Gaga's studio album best represents the concept of the record?

It's between BTW and ARTPOP for me.. The fame in a way as well. Chromaticas works thematically but the music isn't as intricate and layered and Mayhem deserved sooooo much better, thought the one where she had 3 eyes works best!

All her cover arts are good but I think TFM as it has that image of covering the face adding mystery and spookiness and the mascara tear representing how fame can destroy you. For the most part, I don't think any of the arts really represent the sound exactly but her earlier albums, moreso. The aim always seems to be creating a good/pretty picture and she seems to prioritise putting herself on the cover. It would be interesting to see her do something totally different where she goes for something totally different. It's interesting that Chromatica is the only album where we've had a full body shot, apart from ARTPOP which doesn't really count because that's a statue really.

TFM is classy but mysterious yes, her eyes... she knows something that no one else knows  kind of cute look

I love these days motorcycle Gaga on Born This Way - it's legendary and humorous, you can laugh. Back in the days of course i liked the special edition more. Unfortunately, this windows font is bad, even if it is inspired by metallic rock. Also Lady Gaga is not written there, somehow that annoys me...but the motorcycle itself is iconic.

TBH, I think I would’ve liked the same font she had on the special edition on the motor cycle cover for the title and her name. Same placement as well. Hell I would’ve even liked the same hand writing for born this way or something. 
 

that’s been my gripe with Gaga albums and singles, and artists in general for that matter.  I wish there was consistency in aesthetics and font for the albums and singles.

So ARTPOP (fusion of art and pop) wins for representing the music of the record. I like the cover but I'm surprised, i expected TFM Monster.

Chromatica (traumata healing through music and dance) is second and The Fame Monster (fears) is third. 

Also the simple but effective Mayhem, which one is of my favourites is not that popular. Love it for the fractured symbolic...it just seems hopeless, heartbreaking to look at the cover.
