NUTELLA

The intro 16 seconds still get me hyped, idc

The rest of the song is just okay.

Most re-playable of her three songs from that movie

Disappointing choice to use live vocals in the film, though

The way the live vocals in the film are better than the studio version 😭

I was speaking about just her tracks from DWP2, but yes, literally every song she has made for any movie is better than Shallow

I would rather drown in an inch of bathtub water than willingly press play on that abomination of a song

I mean, tbf, you don’t even like live (read: real) music, so that’s obviously not true :reductive:

Wouldn't it have been faster to type "I am an asshole" than to type that?

I mean, you could always just preface comments about music with “I prefer mine straight from the can, preferably blended into a digestible puree” just so there’s no confusion, tbf

I prefer mine straight from the can, preferably blended into a digestible puree i don't have weird stipulations about my music being "real" or not, if it sounds good & makes me dance/feel things, i like it, live music is breathy & unsatisfying compared to studio versions

It’s not a stipulation as much as it’s about the fact that music is an art form made by *people*, so I think having an aversion to music in the setting in which it’s often created feels odd lmao. I just don’t see music as being fundamentally separate from the act of/the people making it and I think it’s kind of weirder to view it as a product divorced from process 🤷

But I could say all of this right back to you re: studio versions & meticulous editing/tweaking done by its creators/people invested in its creation, no?
