When I went out to a gay bar a few weeks ago, this song came on, and as it did, the DJ spoke into the mic, "this song makes me feel so P*SSY!" and ever since then, the song has been only slightly redeemed in my eyes lol.

It reminds me of The Human League's Sound of the Crowd where they never changed the demo lyrics. 

But like that was an intentional choice that fit the new romantic era they were helping usher in and define.
