CNN questions ‘Choosin’ Texas’ as Song of the Summer

I have never heard the Taylor Swift I Knew You or Bruno Mars w/e the song name is on the radio. Or this Texas song. 

I don't even listen to g@y music like that other than Gaga or Ariana sometimes, so I feel like I would've heard it as a GP already... meanwhile I still hear Abracadabra at the mall, gym, etc. and other random places. The echo chamber is so real.

These current hit songs have to be on some AI-powered playlists (they receive streams without people searching for or scouting the track). Idk.
