It's kind of giving me The Streets vibes, like the lyrics are very much a stream of consciousness and don't necessarily have to rhyme etc. I do kinda wish the songs were a tiiiny bit longer though especially Rock Music. In a perfect world the wuthering heights album would’ve been iconic as her own album. It shows her versatility that she just curated a movie and came out with legitimate bangers like chains of love & dying for you. This era shes basically leaning into writing an album of how she’s feeling at the moment. The songs sound monotonous and don’t really go anywhere, but I also feel like that’s how she’s feeling artistically? Also getting Martin , John Cale & Marc Jacob’s on that album cover together is iconic. Idk. I think the length is fine? I do feel like I wanna hear more, but of the record, not the song - I don't think it needs a more climactic resolution, I'm hoping this comes with the album tho - I do hope that with this album she's going for more of a front to back listen kind of experience It's a joke!
