Now that you have said it I can totally see it.

I generally feel like I‘m going to like this album a lot. There are no Bangers like in Brat but it just so interesting I like the way this project is shaping up to be.

I think the song feels differently with and without the video, without the video it reads as the abrupt end is when she has to turn on her public person for the Camera and the song is primarily inside her head before she steps out into the public eye.

Ugh all of the songs have so much potential but she couldn't bother making an actual fully fleshed out song  like they are so interesting but they just fvcking end out of nowhere?! Hopefully she does an extended album like Kylie or Dua did.

Quality over quantity I think. Depends on if you’re interested in the sonic landscape or the prose. And also if you can get your point across in a short time, just like in writing, there’s no need to make something longer just for the sake of being longer.

ITS SO GOOD !!! i rly wasn’t sure how this new sound of pop was going to be but im rly digging the whole understated aspect of the sounds it’s rly refreshing on the ears

Just read online from someone who went, but at the listening party for the album they showed visualisers for every song, for this one it was in full colour and followed Charli from the makeup tent to the camera she stands on in the video showing the other perspective essentially.

Every song from this era was met with an "ok" reaction from me on the first listen. As I listened more, the songs grew on me hard. I really like everything so far. 

Although, this particular track got the weakest initial reaction from me, I feel this blends in nicely with the other songs and the album feels cohesive and somewhat personal already. 

I'm really looking forward to this album release and I think it will be acclaimed like Brat, albeit a bit lower because Brat is a masterpiece.

I’ve been enjoying her approach, it feels “old school” with more minimalistic sounds and lyrics and exclusivity with things like her b.sides account and some songs only being on the limited edition single vinyls as b-sides. (Like they used to do back in the 80s).

Pop music has became so maximalist it’s kind of refreshing to see someone make music that isn’t so loud, complex or overwritten. Plus her promo tactics are more 70s/80s style ones than 2020s ones. Reminds me of how music and pop was when I was growing up.

I mean yea, it can be.. to mind comes Through the wire and **** this world by Rina or Heaven is here, Restrain and Prayer factory by florence.. hell even some of the short songs on Chromatica and on Tension  work, but these all just sound undone sadly, except for SS26.
