Ladle Ghoulash 52,281
I have my issues with both, but I think Joanne is more timeless. That being said, I think if Joanne were re-engineered and Chromatica were reproduced, they could be on par with each other. We have forgotten our public MANNERS

Stylor 152
Joanne. It’s also the one album Gaga regrets making.
Xardas 1,933
I don't get the Chromatica hate. At it's time people were crazy about it, saying this is what ARTPOP should have been. Gay clubs were playing Chromatica songs on loop and everyone was excited about Gaga coming back to more pop sounds. Now, I'm learning it's getting hate. Like, for what? It's not the greatest album ever, but it has great melodies, vocals, energies and it has more content within than current pop stars', whole discographies. Joanne on the other side was for me an important founding for one of Gaga's most important eras, which is A Star is Born and has some good songs itself. Yet, it leaves a great impression of incompleteness. The direction was great but I feel like Gaga should've worked more on this album. And vocally it feels too heavy sometimes. She sang Joanne songs for the European leg of Mayhem ball on piano. I was lucky myself to hear Hey Gril from the 2nd row ❤️ I believe at this point she is able to appreciate whatever almost everything released. loveandpeace 1,722
Joanne is a breath of fresh air in Gaga's discography. Without it, literally all of her albums would be dance-pop just smile :) ♡🦋⬇️
Lucas 31,063
Hm honestly Joanne. I listened to Chromatica so much when it dropped that it lost the only thing it had - catchiness.
