As I dont think she should tbh. I dont think its fair to expect an artist to wipe out one of their biggest iconic career hits because of people who were involved with the song

Tbf for genz/genalpha it may work in her favour

 

The younger cohorts may not even recognize the voice so... this may cause some of them out of curiosity to search it up (most wont of course with these kind of things but even if only like 1% or 2% do thats still huge impact tbh)

Not with his production though, as I said in my initial post, and iirc it’s the only pop song with a whole new arrangement, so it makes me wonder

I get what you mean but I think she's actually healthily divorced its original creation (as maybe even more confirmed by) transforming a big part of its original intention in the promo shows/Copacabana and during the MBT - she's somehow turned it into a striving for self-love anthem, basically saying to the Mistress/part of her "I'll follow you until you love me" after her triumphant escape from the pit battered by physical and mental anguish but not down for the count. No dry eyes in the house, as far as I've seen (including me). 

But they should certainly rediscover Alejandro or any BTW masterpiece like they did with BM imho! Which is so weird to say as they are fixtures in my life but anyway.

To be fair while I agree it was probably him given how he talks about her and she doesn’t even so much as speak about him. 
We don’t know for a fact it was him yet, she worked with loads of other producers around the same time and the one who did it might not even be credited on any of her work nor may she have had completed anything with them.

During the Joanne era she went on Howard Stern, pink leather jacket, played MR - she said that she'd never name him but that fans already know who she worked with in her early days and it wasn't difficult to find out who it was at all. So I think we know, as you also suspected.

Acoustic songs don’t count for obvious reasons, but you’re right about BM even though it’s an intro more than an actual song
