I didn't even know it was out.. I was so not interested.. and the trailers helped to keep me uninterested.

With this money they could have make another Moaning Moana movie, or better, a totally new story with new characters.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

The animated sequel came out 2 years ago and now going back to the beginning with a live action makes little sense to me. They’re so greedy trying to milk their IP dry.

I was going to see this but the animated one came out not so long ago I didn’t even feel like I wanted to see it this soon. Went to see Evil Dead Burn instead.

I’d probably watch this if my brother and niece want to go but other than that I have no interest especially now with The Odyssey coming out next week and The Invitation also a new movie out this weekend.

Apparently it’s an almost 1:1 recreation even down to the camera angles chosen. I think live action remakes at Disney has ran out.

The tangled remake is coming next year I think that one will be more successful

I hope so, I think Katheryn Hahn is gonna be great in it. I think also the thing that helps is a lot of successful live action remakes in general have been mostly practical effects. A lot of Disney’s “live action” remakes are CGI heavy or entirely CGI (see: The Lion King) meaning not even technically live action remakes, just remakes.
