Chesescake 4,141 Posted yesterday at 06:08 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:08 PM (edited) Just curious since her new album is coming out in Sep. So I want to hear other ppl share their thoughts 'bout her, positive, negative or favorite songs whatever. Personally I haven't enjoyed her albums as much as I used to with Emotion, but to this day, she still has some of my favorite songs. Also I'm just going to list all my favorite songs of hers: And Disco Darling. Edited yesterday at 06:08 PM by Chesescake
ryansamonster 1,812 Posted yesterday at 06:34 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:34 PM I think she is an underrated queen. I hated Call Me Maybe and I’ve never visited her first albums, however, since EMOTION I’ve been a fan. Not a Stan by any means, but I appreciate her ever-evolving sound. I really love Bad Thing Twice, Western Wind, and So Right. Her new one On Wires is good too! I went to a taping of Ellen back in 2014/15 maybe and CRJ was the musical guest while Chris Pratt was promoting dinosaurs. I also caught some of her set at Coachella a few years ago.

bpmMonkey 7,612
BIG slay. Her writing is implacable, her voice is great, THE DRAMA of her delivery, production is always super clean and pure. I haven't connected as much with her last two records sonically, but she's such a star to me. Excited for the new era saving people, hunting things - the family business
Anderson123 42,535
I never liked Call Me Maybe but gave her album Emotion a listen because a lot of people here were crazy about it. I just didn’t like it, too bubblegum for me.
Idefix1999 436
She is the most underrated pop girl in my opinion! E•MO•TION is a pop masterpiece! I hate she is always reduced to Call Me Maybe (and maybe people remember Good Time or I Really Like You), when there are so many other hits... Making The Most of The Night, Cut To The Feeling, Party For One, Surrender My Heart... she writes so many incredible pop songs. I hate how people sleep on her. Also she seems like a great person who doesn't need scandals but only proves herself because of her work around her music.

Bronco 24,010
She's the modern day Kylie - aka bubblegum pop princess. It's a shame she doesn't have more GP support, but the GP is anti-fun in pop these days. The gays know how to party
gumzy3000 7,865
I was really into Emotion when it came out and I still think it’s a great album. I really didn’t continue listening to her after that but maybe I should?! trolly troll troll
hamartia 2,917
Love her forever and always. Always has a clear vision, and understands what are strengths are and how to capitalize on them. I might not love every song she puts out, but I always trust her taste and her eye in the same way I do with Gah. I feel like she needs to work as a Pop Consultant on the side or something lol I think her talents are underrated but tbh I feel like she has the perfect sized audience to stay experimental without being held to unrealistic expectations and constant scrutiny. Being successful enough to do what you want without needing to top the charts is perfect tbh "I lied. I lied!" (Germanotta, 2025)
