Let’s also be real as we have seen in the UK you can be “left” or centre left and still do sh*tty things. Look at the amount of racist, homophobic and transphobic followers of Labour in the UK a party that would be considered our “left”. You can absolutely be left and still have right wing views, I know many (sadly) racist people who are massive advocates for trans people or people adamantly against racism but believe queer people are “asking too much” now. Nobody is truly hard left or hard right, and the ones that claim to be do it for attention tbh. Plus money in America makes you apolitical or central.
