Eh, I’m a pretty harsh critic and I’d say anything between 7.5-8.0 is justified

it does not compare to confessions 1 for me at all. id give it a 7 and even thats generous. i think the critics are just easy on her because shes old and shes obviously trying hard and serving **** and has some good will going for her.

I mean, tbf, title aside, it’s clearly not trying to be COADF (an album I honestly think is largely overrated, tbh)

Have we all listened to the same album?  Because I'd say that's too low. 8.5 - 9 for me. Up there with Confessions, Ray Of Light, Like A Prayer in her absolute best albums.

Idk, I really enjoy it, but I can’t honestly put it in the upper echelon of her discog because, while I love it as a body of work, I don’t think on a song to song basis it really stacks up to some of her best work (ROL, Music, LAP, AL). It’s easily the best thing she’s done since Confessions and I think it’s a great addition to her catalogue, though.
