This one looks absolutely feral I can't wait If you haven't seen his films - The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019), The Northman (2022) and Nosferatu (2024) - I strongly advise you do as he is by far one of the most exciting and innovative filmmakers around. The VVitch was great, the Lighthouse had its moments (excellent performance from Dafoe, the film itself feels a bit derivative for me/didn’t really live up to the hype), The Northman was a fun Vikingsploitation flick but a touch too pretentious for its own good, and Nosferatu, while atmospherically strong and, at times, a really great fleshing out of the OG, petered out toward the end for me.
