imogen2133 473
Make or release TDD, the Nurtec sponsorship, ASIB, Enigma, HOG, JFAD, dynamic pricing for the tour, release Joanne Edited 56 minutes ago by imogen2133
Guillaume Hamon 6,947
Since Nurtec and R Kelly were largely mentioned already... DYNAMIC PRICING FFS !!! It stopped many super fans to see her with certain rich folks vaguely curious about her being able to go. It also contradicts her original messages about money not being the main goal. 5

I didn't hear any harshness. Fair, we all see things differently. To me, 2013 already destroyed 2016 But 2021? Damn. Maybe it’s because of her face/body language as well? Cause even before she opened her mouth, I was thinking “girl, please don’t faint…not now” and I remember my mom saying she had never seen Gaga look that nervous, so maybe I just see that performance through the lenses of anxiety?
RenegAde 20,350
Acting like she couldn't have made an album like Mayhem without Michael. Acting like she couldn't have pulled off a good performance on ASIB without Bradley and I could still see glimpses of this when she interviewed with Adam driver and Joaquin Phoenix I understand her gratitude and being humble but sometimes its just a bit much for me to listen to. 1

Had me looking at my stan card like: I guess it helped pay for Slayhem but still…. choices, girl Agreed. My bestie is a pharmacist over here in the Netherlands, she was appalled. ALGAYDO 34,838
The only thing in her whole career thus far that made me question my Stan-card was her 2018-2021 era of being so open-arms with evil corps to push her career. The NURTEC ad, her “software people” concert, her weird interview with Oprah, her getting into a relationship with a venture-capitalist, etc., I genuinely was concerned that she might’ve flipped into being a full-on republican at this time. I obviously gave her the benefit of the doubt, but it left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. 2

She was the symbol of a new era of capitalism since the beginning of her career though, she had deals with Apple, Google, Youtube, Twitter, Zynga and others and they are no better than Nurtec or Oprah. I mean, the Superbowl ball half time show itself is THE symbol of capitalism, it generates a lot of money through ads, the moment she jumped down the roof and landed on the field, she represented all the corps that advertised there, Pepsi at that time and the NFL. Yeah, that 2013 performance is great imo, and I think you have to mark it up because she was unaccompanied, and I'd guess it was a pretty basic sound system compared to the other two. Having said that, I rate 2016 as one of the best things I've ever heard (from anybody), although, in keeping with the point of this thread, I wish she hadn't gone for the super-high note on 'freeeeee'. That's not what she's best at and it was a slight blemish for me. On the nervousness in 2021, don't forget that everyone on that stage was kitted out in bulletproof gear, and with good reason. Helxig 45,213
Worked with R Kelly and Terry Richardson. That's probably it I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

That's the first thing that came to my mind tbh. DWUW solo version may have helped save the ARTPOP era
Gorehound 5,699
if I'm honest, pretty much everything between ARTPOP and Chromatica/MAYHEM. That decade was tedious as an OG Gaga fan. Happy for her success tho. Edited 1 hour ago by Gorehound 1

I still 100% think she means what she says, but when she started using fillers and stuff, I personally did lose a bit of respect for her in regards to that. I mean, I kinda get it but at the same time, Born This Way talks about who you are and not what you look like. The songs says "you're black, white, beige, chola descent" not "your nose's too big you little bitch" Estàvem al cel, ara estem a l'infern
