Taylor Swift paid the City of New York $160,000 to cover the cost of resources used during her wedding at Madison Square Garden, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Friday.

"Taylor Swift has paid already the cost of the permit that was lodged, which was over $160,000 for that event and for the response to that event, and that was a permit that was finalized, I think, in just the days before the event itself," Mamdani said.

The wedding required a permit for street closures and traffic management.

The NYPD deployed dozens of officers.

The event was attended by hundreds of celebrities, athletes and close friends and family.

You’d be shocked at the answer. 

Everyone loves to pick their favorite fanbases to bully but the reality is that stan culture, no matter who the stanning is directed toward, is uniformly stupid and the people who perpetuate it are too. 

Stupid people buy things like this. 

It’s a big reason why I keep hoping the whole concept of stanning and the culture around it dies an immediate death. It’s uniformly cringe and every stan base is guilty of it.
