The MAYHEM era is over &, once again, we find ourselves in the midst of a “drought;” a period of time when LG is not actively releasing/promoting/discussing anything, online or in person… nor is she expected to do so “soon.” For the time being, she has disappeared. Some droughts are more challenging than others; if you personally did not enjoy her most recently-released album, you may feel especially impatient for LG to serve up something new & “keep things moving.” But I would argue that most of us were satisfied by the MAYHEM album/era & everything it entailed. A lot of us are excited for the future, but are pretty much “satiated” for the time being as fans of hers.  So now I must ask: To all of the people on here complaining about how annoying the site is rn… I get it; in the absence of new music/photoshoots/etc… the bottom of a barrel is being scraped… some members are more annoying than others, & some conversations are more banal. But even so… what else do you expect to occur on this website? Literally nothing is happening with LG rn… “Wow… we’re so bored…” “How many more of these XYZ-type threads are there going to be??” “We need new material NOW”  No sh!t?  So I am curious: under the current circumstances, what would YOU have gagadaily become during “dry seasons” ? If you cannot answer that question succinctly & kindly & are dissatisfied with the current state of things... (I suggest this with love & respect) maybe you should just stfu & leave until LG returns? We memorize usernames and profile pictures that somehow become parts of our online lives. During the gaps between eras I think we should continue sharing stories and supporting each other. And there are so many topics within and outside of pop culture that can be discussed. What we do? we share stories and dance naked in the moonlight and it's always been more fun to see it like that rather than a music fan forum. But I think if someone has the time and has a passion for it could be fun to have a daily 'HotTopics' thread recapping entertainment news, ggd drama.. etc. and like an ask wendy kindof segment to keep things kinda interesting/slimy. Basically I really need something like the wendy show y'all It wouldn't negate the need for individual threads either but maybe where we discuss lingering afterthoughts, idk but something along those lines would be fun I guess. Something like a weekly newsletter? Maybe weekly zoom gatherings/checkins? Prominent niche clubs maybe, and competitive project (gets voted on) by each club at the end of the year?
