Do you support a national football team or a player during this World Cup ?

I'm getting really absorbed by the W.C 

I support Turkiye (despite the defeat against Australia we can still get back in the race). They had a nice row of victories during the qualifications. I also support France, Japan and Brasil. But I like to support random teams just bc there are players I appreciate in these teams. 

My fav player is Kenan Yildiz, he is talented, cool and charismatic. He's relatable to me bc he is a 2005 and a Turkish immigrant who speak poorly his father’s language lol. He plays as a winger and midfielder depending of the organization of a game. He's signed to Juventus, and is considered as one of the best new talents. 

He is also gaining a status of fashion icon btw  :

He looks good and he played for the AS Roma, PSG and Juve (three clubs I appreciate a lot).

I support my own National team, the Republic of Ireland, but sadly we haven't qualified this time.

So instead I'm kinda supporting the little guys in the World Cup. The gap between the traditional superpowers in Europe and South America and those little guys in Africa and Asia has been narrowing gradually for several years, and based on the opening games I'm wondering does that gap really exist any more. Morocco impressed against Brazil the other night, and Senegal are the equal of Morocco. I'd love to see one of those two African countries win this thing, and I won't fall down dead in amazement if it happens.

Too bad your team haven’t qualified... 

I get the idea, I think it’s great to support African and Asian teams. They are less represented on mainstream medias. I'd love to see Morocco or another African or Asian nation win.

I watched it, the match was insane and Mbappé was at his best 

On a gagné !! Je soutiens la France car je sais qu’on va gagner la coupe du monde. 

Et je soutiens la Turquie car c’est mon deuxième pays et que ça faisait longtemps qu’elle ne s’était pas qualifiée au mondial.

Oui l’Argentine est vraiment très corriace. C’est les vainqueurs de la coupe de 2023. Le Portugal aussi est extrêmement fort. 

Mais les Bleus peuvent gagner et briller cette année, je le sens !
