Meanwhile… No more films at all in my opinion 😅 the best role she’s played is “lady gaga.” I can’t watch her act bc all I see is lady gaga and it breaks the immersion... tbh I think she spent so many years being otherworldly, out there, etc… got rich along the way… and now has a hard time portraying “normalcy” in a way that I can buy into. maybe it’s just my fault for being so obsessed with her though lmao I’m sure non stans might be able to see her character first. 1 1 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd rather her not do another adaption/remake/musical for awhile if I'm honest, but truly، I just want to see her in something with a good script. Which is yet to happen. The thing is, I get the feeling she's not interested in taking on polarizing, complex films or ideas. I could never see her being in something like The Drama, she seems very by the books at least for in this moment in her acting career. Personally I would LOVE to see it (and see it done well) But I really don't think a musical right off the back of Joker 2 would be doing Gaga any favours. I hate to be a little manager, but the whole world still sees that as such a misstep, and the general public for some reason blame HER for a lot of it. They're sick of her singing in movies. It'd be a big risk and would have to blow people away or her acting career could take a big blow I still really think something totally different would be a great move for her. I would love to see her playing a more quirky character in a comedy or something. I think she could nail it! We've seen her in SNL.
