Maybe go to therapy to work through your underlying issues with the teachers who hurt you instead of slamming the people who are spreading knowledge to that dumb ass country. Sorry but teachers (and also nurses and other difficult work positions) should be making way more than corporate bros and gals who don't do much for society. These people educate and sort of raise kids, they bring out the next generation. Yea there are some teachers that suck ass and shouldn't be teachers, but the vast majority of them do good work. And even the difficult ones teach you certain life lessons and in some ways I'm grateful I had to go through some pieces of trash so that now I know how to stand up for myself and solve conflicts in effective ways, cause life ain't sunshine and rainbows :P

I've had a few troubling experiences with evil teachers myself, but to paint them all with the same broad brush is a bit crass. And stupid.

 

But this is the guy who said he'd stab his son if he was gay, so... crass and stupid is to be expectorated.

I’m late to the thread but gross. Actually, my ex boyfriend used to say **** like this to me. “All you’ll ever be is a teacher.” Then married another teacher. This mentality is worse in the US because teachers do not get respect, literally rid their lives for other peoples’ children and don’t get paid a livable wage. Meanwhile, I have 9 years of college education in the field of education. There are other areas of education I could go into, but I choose to stay where I’m at because I like my job and working with students. Saying all you’ll ever be is an educator is insulting. Like it’s a bad thing to be an educator.
