To this day, the most shocking image in a music video for me was gaga beeing this "Black Swan" in the "Applause" MV.

She loves to put her head on motorcycles and sh*t, but this still caught me so off guard. 

This gave me body dismorphia, straight from a nightmare. And why that black paint smeared all over her, and why does it look for me like she has a beard like one of the worst people that ever lived on earth...

Honestly this. And the alternative version, where it's implied that she dies is quite something. But that video truly was the one that got me like "woah" with the twist, and then you watch it again and realize what actually is happening in the video.

I love this, it's so artsy fartsy campy. The Applause video is very underrated imo
