A duckface is a satisfied, snubish and try-hard attractive facial expression. It’s litteraly his subtle expression on many pics. It’s generaly tied to an influencial and wealthy status.

In this context, I point out that he is one of the guy that internet hypes a lot, despite being shallow as Dula Peep... I don’t know much about his acting career and It’s none of my interests. But this annoying facial expression and the egoistic persona are enough to draw an archetypal caricature of him.

A bodyshaming situation is more about mocking a feature in particular. It generally happens to "unconventional" beauties, like Lady Gaga with her aquiline nose. I have this type of nose too, and I never criticize ppl's faces, bc I know how it feels. He is conventionally attractive, we won’t pity his privilleges too ? It’s his expression that is ridiculous with the sociological context.

And don’t get me wrong I like Dula Peep’s music and style, but I dislike who she is as a human being.

That just reminded me when I was in Italy and there was a guy disguised like this who would stand up from time to time to scare people, for his TikTok or whatever. I saw him from afar so I decided I would just not react if he did this to me. He did, I did not move an inch, people around laughed and he packed up and left just after that (the touristic spot this was at was closing at this moment, so that's most likely the reason he left, but it's funnier to pretend that I discouraged him ).

So there’s an article from PalermoToday praising the event and apparently all the locals got paid so they wouldn’t lose their profits

It feels like some of you guys here in GGD were more bothered by the whole thing than the actual locals
