Charmi3 161
Evanescence has released their sixth studio album, 'Sanctuary'. it is written and performed predominantly by the band (with new bassist Emma Anzai) and produced by Zakk Cervini, Nick Raskulinecz and Jordan Fish. this album drills down the quintessential Evanescence symphonic nu metal rock sound, modernised with progressive arrangements and a consistent electro-industrial production style across the tracklist, plus some classic Amy piano ballads. Imo it's most similar to their self-titled, with some Fallen nostalgiacore: heads and shoulders above The Bitter Truth imo, partly due to the immaculate mixing on this one the only let down is the atrocious cover for me which I will be changing immediately on Apple Music Big day for grown up emo kids Edited Saturday at 12:23 AM by Charmi3 6

NemoMyName 2,018
Amy's ****ing pissed. Very aggresive and strong album, they are not playing this time. My fave song, I live the epic but unsettling atmosphere. Edited Friday at 08:05 AM by NemoMyName 2

NickoNacko 36
It could be recency bias, but I fear I may have a new favorite Evanescence album. 2
PdogtheDaibutsu 725
This album is awesome. I’m two listens through now and it is already up there with Fallen and The Open Door. The contemporary electronic mixing is great, and the inclusion of orchestral and choir elements was a pleasant surprise (given those being some of my favorite aspects of their earlier sound) 1
