Some of the instrumentals have VERY compelling moments/elements but, as a whole…

the album is an immolated garbage truck driving through manure

I am, I fear. The production isn’t bad, I just think her calling it ARTPOP and all of the hype surrounding being futuristic etc. was her setting the audience up for disappointment. It’s certainly more sonically progressive than a fair amount of the pop out at the time, but it’s not exactly *leaps and bounds* ahead.

Not her fault if people expected it to be revolutionary, it doesn’t change the quality of the work. And after all, she hasn’t released anything even remotely futuristic after ARTPOP

That's nice I would like to see them work together again, I recently listened to one of my old playlists of music I listened too on Youtube around 2014-17 and I realized some of those songs were by him. I also would like to hear her work with Zedd again, I listened to his remix for Aespas new song Lemonade and it souded really cool and really ARTPOP.
