Yes they’re both marketing but my whole issue with Madonna this era has been her doing nothing but “hey gays buy my album”. This is the first time you've commented on issues surrounding Grindr's impact on the community etc - all you said prior to this was the comment I responded to. And I responded to it on the basis of what you said, not thoughts you may have had but weren't articulated. Trying to distinguish between identical marketing stunts by talking about family friendliness and hook-up culture is language and distinctions typically done by people with internalised issues. I'd have happily had a conversation about the ethics of Grindr if you had used that as your original point. You didn't. And are now mad and lashing out at me for not reading your mind.
