Obviously, none of us have seen the movie yet, so we can't say whether or not there's generative AI stuff in it. But I will say, the AI paranoia is just as annoying to me as the AI itself. More and more, I see people accusing stuff of being AI that's not. Not only is your brain mush if you can't take a moment to think critically about what you're looking at, but it's actually damaging to real artists if you're constantly screaming at everything being AI when it's not. Sometimes it's just an artistic style, sometimes it's poorly executed, but regardless, this "boy who cried wolf" approach to AI criticism does more harm than good.

Has there been any pics released of the supposed AI? Such a claim towards a film can do so much damage and I’d absolutely hate to see an LGBT blockbuster get unjustly shat on because of a rumor.

No, the basis of the rumor was because one of the VFX companies that worked on the film is allegedly “AI based.”

I hate gen AI completely, but it's annoying everyone's immediate assumption is AI and not just CGI especially with no confirmation or seeing the final product, I mean I wouldn't put it past rupaul to use ai, but still lol.

I got into an argument with someone in a facebook group the other day over someone posting an "ai" painting and it was literally a hand drawn digital drawing but apparently that doesn't count as real art and is still ai because it wasn't done with paper and paint lmao.

I mean it's not an allegation, the company is literally called Acme AI & FX. 
What the team are saying though is that the work they used that company for was back of house stuff not actual content within the movie.
